Information Assurance Programs — Certificate and Master’s degree

Protect crucial data from hackers and viruses when you earn your Graduate Certificate or Master of Science in Information Assurance at Regis University. Regis offers its programs in a format that’s made for you — online, on campus, or a blend of both. Courses are modeled on the curricular guidelines and recommendations of top industry associations such as the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS), International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC)2, ISACA (formerly Information Systems Audit and Control Association) and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

Information Assurance Programs Offered

MS in Information Assurance, IA Policy Management Specialization

Three classes (9 credit hours) are needed to earn the Policy Management Specialization. Courses are chosen from five information assurance classes — architecture security to technology auditing and an IA practicum. Classes can be completed online, on-campus, or as a blend of online and on-campus.

IA Policy Management Graduate Certificate

Choose four of five Information Assurance class options —  architecture security to technology auditing and risk management — to complete your certificate. Transfer credits earned in attaining the IA Policy Management Certificate directly into the MS degree in Information Assurance if you choose to continue your education.

MS in Information Assurance, Cybersecurity Specialization

Three classes (9 credit hours) are needed to complete the Cybersecurity specialization of the master’s program. Courses are chosen from five cybersecurity classes — securing and protecting systems, apps and data; computer and network forensics; software assurance and a hands-on IA practicum.

Cybersecurity Graduate Certificate

Choose four of five Cybersecurity class options — from managing a secure enterprise; securing and protecting systems, apps and data; risk management; and computer and network forensics — to complete your cybersecurity graduate certificate.

You can take a high-level role to keep data safe by planning for security breaches and recovery with revolutionary security systems, risk management techniques and best practices.
